NSW Public Holidays 2013
For the years 2013 and 2014, the NSW public holidays 2013 list has an addition. An additional holiday has been declared for Australia Day. In 2013, though Australia day falls on Saturday, Monday, the 28th of January has been declared as an additional holiday. On the other hand, Australia day in the year 2014 falls on Sunday and so an additional holiday has been declared on the 27th of January.
On the occasion of Anzac day, 25th of April in the year 2014 has been declared as a public holiday. Interestingly this day falls on Friday and so it is a long weekend again!
The whole year of 2013 consists of only one additional holiday and one substituted holiday for special occasions.
